conversion ppt to pdf on computer- Hieroglyphs

Hello,

when I convert my powerpoint to pdf  using my installed adobe acrobat on my computer - the pdf has lost of hieroglyphs (almost on every slide - esp. the headlines) - making parts unreadable.

If I upload the same powerpoint to an online free PDF converter  - the downloaded pdf is without any mistakes.... Does anybody have an idea what the problem could be? And what I can do to fix it.

Adobe has been updated.

I attach an example. Same ppt - one converted with installed Adobe on Computer, the other using an online converter...

Thanks. Kerstin

@KStSt that's a font issue right off the bat. For me, under PowerPoint Preferences, click on 'Save'

Since your files are a little wonky, select 'Embed ALL characters' in your case

Now, go ahead and save as a PDF, convert or export to PDF again.
