Conversion to landscape fails

I am attempting to create a pdf file from MSWord 2007 set to Custom Size A3 42(w) x 29.7(h).

I choose Press Quality in Abode Acrobat 9 and set Page Size to A3 and Layout to Landscape.

The resultant pdf files shows as Portrait layout and has cut off the left and right sides of the document.

Rotating or altering size does not help.

How can I fix this?

Ok I found the problem. It was Word. Orientation had been set to Landscape on the Ribbon, but it was still (somehow) set To Portrait in Page Setup.
