Convert 436-page Word file to PDF

I have an extremely large 436-page Microsoft Word document on WWII Naval History that needs to be converted to PDF. I realize that the Adobe Reader will be of no use, as I will probably instead need the full Reader/Writer package instead. Question is, can Adobe Acrobat Writer successfully convert this doc into a viable PDF that will be suitable for publication. The document has (115) figures and (54) tables. Can the Writer program do this cleanly and without error? This before I go out and spend money on an upgraded package. Thanks for any help folks...

Hi

Adobe Acrobat will help you convert your Word file into a PDF successfully irrespective of the number of pages/tables/images.

However, if you still have doubts, you can download the trial version of Acrobat and check if it works for you.

Thanks

Note, when looking for the product, that it is nowhere called "Writer". It is called Acrobat, by contrastcto Acrobat Reader. in flavours Actobat Pro and Acrobat Standard.

Suitability for publication will mainly depend on the quality of the graphics you used. Also expect page text to reflow so it is vital that you did not type page numbers anywhere.

Without seeing your document, images, Word structure, etc., I can tell you that I have converted documents with hundreds of pages, and many images, and have had great success.

My best,
