My Adobe subscription inlcudes Acrobat Pro. Why can't I convert a dwg file to a pdf?

I don't believe Acrobat opens dwg files directly. Convert to pdf in AutoCAD first. You can also try opening the file in Illustrator and save as PDF.

You'll also need access to a program that can read a DWG, such as AutoCad or Illustrator. As far as I know, Acrobat cannot (by itself) convert a DWG to PDF.
