I use adobe acrobat pro dc with chrome.I am having trouble converting a 1 page PDF to a JPEG. It works after 4-5 tries every time. Why does it not work on the first try?

It happens after the 4th or 5th attempt either way I try to convert the PDF:

1) file...export to...image...jpeg

2) save as File name "Anything" and file type JPEG

Dave,

Yes, there is the pause. When the dialog box opens, I name it and select JPEG as the format, and hit save. A black box opens very quickly with a blue progress line and disappears. It only opens for 1-2 seconds. The dialog box then goes away. The PDF is not converted until I do this 4-5 times.

You don't need Chrome for Adobe Acrobat.

I do not use chrome with acrobat. I have chrome open in the background with gmail when using acrobat on the desktop.

Eric - When I attempt this routine, there is a decidedly annoying pause before the 'save as' dialog box is visible and accessible.  If I wait patiently for everything, mine works.  Is it possible that your requested process is still in the works for your early attempts?  What do you see (or not see) in your failed attempts?

My best,

Dave
