Converting Acrobat DC pdfs file to PowerPoint - How does it work?!

Every time I try and convert a pdf to PowerPoint, the PowerPoint page is blank. Why is this? Is there a way I should be creating the pdf to start with? My original source was an InDesign document.

Looking at the tutorial, (in theory) there is nothing to it, a simple conversion... but it doesn't seem to be the case. The files provided from Adobe (the Paris/Travel page) work, however, the text is still broken up when opening the converted PowerPoint document.

Can anyone please help?

Many thanks!

I think you may be hoping for a simple path from InDesign to Powerpoint, with editability? I doubt you will find it unless your designs are very simple. Powerpoint has a very different design model.

If you just want to bring in uneditable InDesign pages for a Powerpoint presentation, there may be better ways to do this.

Can a pdf be used for a PowerPoint presentation? Please could you sugges what the best way would be?

The 'How to export PDFs to Microsoft Office formats' page on the Adobe Support Page (https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/acrobat/how-to/export-pdf-to-word-excel-ppt.html?set=acrobat--fundamentals--export-pdf) certainly gives the impression that the conversion is easy, using the example pdfs supplied (travel/Paris). So not sure....

Many thanks for taking the time to reply.
