Converting Excel to Fillable form fails

Question

When trying to convert an excel file to fillable form it does nothing. It used to work flawlesly but after an update it no longer works. I have left it alone for hours but it just sits there and does not creat the form. Has anyone else had this happen and if so is it fixable?

From my experience the Wizard looks for very specific objects and leads to indicate the location for a form field. For text and numbers it is a line preceded by a title for the field.

If the Wizard does not detect a form form field, then you can manually add them. It is even possible to create a row of fields and then highlight all the fields in the row and use the context menu for form fields to create multiple copies down or across the page.
