converting large amounts of email to pdf with everything inside expanded

This is in a legal environment creating case documentation.  Is there a way to convert large amounts of email into a pdf portfolio where everything gets expanded sequentially.  Currently it appears that the first layer of emails gets converted and everything else appears as a link to the attachment that has to be opened manually and inserted into the portfolio.  My requirement is to have every item within every email expanded and sequenced into the pdf portfolio.   Is there any way to accomplish this task?
