I subscribe to Adobe.com, paing GBP 10.42 per month.  I mainly use the 'export' programme to convert PDF files to Excel or Word.

Converting pdf to excel gives a most unsatsfactory result.

See attached examples.

Thanks

The ability to export to Word or Excel is not an exact science. Acrobat is making it's best guess as to how your data is organized. It has no idea how your columns/rows/tables should be or anything. PDFs do not contain this data in that way at all... it's an end product, like a printed sheet would be. The only benefit for you to have the ability to export like this is to save some manual work. Sometimes it's worth it, sometimes not. If you expect a 100% conversion, you will be disappointed.

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Acrobat forum so that proper help can be offered.
