I have a large PDF that contains many pages that I am trying to convert to excel and have it extract a name date & amount. Is it possible to set up a way that allows excel to extract like this. I am trying to avoid having to do hours of work to clean up excel after I import to excel. I tried it once and it brings in things that I do not need like the logo of the person sending the bill  I only neeed 3 theing brought in.

The problem here is, that Acrobat has only limited information about what is needed and what not. Either you get the initial Excel file, or you prepare your file in a way that it can easily reconstruct the Excel data. Try cropping out the logo and other disturbing info. You can also try, beforehand to delete info that is disturbing.

If the data can be consistently identified then a custom-made script might be able to do it, but it's impossible to say for sure without seeing the actual file (or at least some pages from it).
