Converting Word Tables - tiny specks appear

I've been converting a table made in MS Word for Mac (Version 16.41). Eacxh table has several horizontal lines and very small bit noticeable little specks occur in the converted document though are not visible in the original Word one. This happens both when I convert using Print and then save as PDF and when I convert directly using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (Version 2020.12.20048). I have done a screen shot of the same table in Word and then converted. The specks are small but this is a dissertation and the dissertation chair and committee wants the specks gone. t
