Copy and paste limits?

A bit of background: I am currently using Adobe Acrobat Pro Continuous Release Version 2023.006.2030 64-bit.  I use Adobe Acrobat Pro to combine multiple files into one pdf binder (as Adobe calls it). 

 

I started having problems with copying and pasting multiple images in the same document.  I have an image that has 3 entries on the image.  I need to copy it and paste it so that I can crop each entry as it's own page.  I will copy and paste a few pages at a time and then I will go to copy and I can't.  I then have to shut down the program and reopen it, then I can continue copying and pasting pages.  It's almost like there are limits to how many pages you can copy and paste in a document.  I have never had this issue with Adobe before.  I have tried to Repair Installation.  Has anyone else had this issue or is there a way to increase the limit of pages you can copy and paste?

    Update:  I think I may have found a better option for me insted of copy and paste.  I started using Ctrl and dragging the image down to duplicate it.  So far it's working better than copy & paste

    Adobe Acrobat should not impose any limitations. If there is a limit, it's imposed by the OS or by a program error. You did not mention your OS and version.

    I never had this issue before.  The only thing that has changed is I was given a new laptop by my employer. I had Windows 10 on my old laptop and the new one.
