Copying/Pasting from PDF

Hello-

We use the "Edit original document text" tool to copy text from a PDF.  When doing this, we have noticed that some characters can be dropped when the text is pasted into another program such as a text editor.  Is there any way to resolve this?

That's not a good way of doing it. Why aren't you using the text selection

tool and then Ctrl+C?
