Question

Coverting Doc/Docx to PDF creating non-edible blank line

When converting a Doc/Docx file to a PDF, I am getting a blank line added between two lines of text. I cannot seem to edit it out as the blank portion always remains blank. For example the following:

Builder: Joseph Smith
Year Built: 1890 (R1992)
Truss Type: Burr Arch
Dimensions: 1 Span, 75 feet

becomes

Builder: Joseph Smith
Year Built: 1890 (R1992)

Truss Type: Burr Arch
Dimensions: 1 Span, 75 feet

I cannot find a way to remove the blank line nor can I write to it.

Thanks for any help, Harold

How are you converting it, exactly? What command are you using?

Thaank you for your reply

I open a Docx file in Acrobat and after it processes to a PDF, I click Edit PDF. At that point I find that a blank space was created between two typed lines and I can't delete it or write it it.

However, I just tried it with a Doc file and it was correctly formatted.

Thanks for replying
