Hi Linda,

Thanks for reaching out.

Can no longer create pdf in Outlook - error message that Adobe is expired or not activated.

Have you been able to create PDFs directly from Acrobat, or do you get the same error message?

If it works directly from Acrobat, then try the following steps:

1- Open Acrobat>help>repair installation

2- Would you mind sharing the Adobe Acrobat version you are using? To check the version, go to Help > about Acrobat and ensure you have the recent version https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html installed. Go to Acrobat> Help > Check for updates and reboot to check the update.

3- If this doesn't work, then run this cleaner tool to remove the existing installer and application's files traces:

https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html

Download the Acrobat installer from here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Thanks,

Akanchha

Hi Linda,

Thank you for reaching out.

Please ensure that you are signed in to the Acrobat desktop application.

If the issue still occurs, try signing out of the application and rebooting the machine.

The sign in again and check if you get the error message.

Let us know if the issue persists.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
