Creating a brochure for custom cabinet business

Hi Adobe Community, I'm designing a PDF brochure for my cabinet business, HamesCo Kitchens, and I’m seeking advice on using RGB gradients effectively. The brochure will highlight our custom cabinetry, premium kitchen design services, and innovative storage solutions. I want the gradients to enhance our brand identity while maintaining print clarity and digital compatibility. Are there best practices for using RGB gradients in marketing collateral meant for both online and print distribution? Any tips on color blending or exporting settings would be greatly appreciated!

I would avoid RGB gradients if doing a print document. Too many of the RGB colors can't be printed or won't print accurately. If you know enough about Photoshop, you can create the gradient in RGB but preview in an appropriate CMYK profile.

If you create a CMYK gradient for print, you can then make an RGB copy for online. By making the RGB from the CMYK, it's a good chance the gradients will match (as much as possible) between the two.

When picking colors, a couple of tips will help preventing any banding:

Use a similar base color; for example, 100Y to 100Y100M;

Avoid zero (0) percentages; for example, 100% to 5% rather than 100% to 0%.

Also, ask the printer for a contract proof if printing commercially.
