Creating a Custom Scan?

Question

I am a first time user with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I want to create a custom scan. I go to create PD - Scanner - I can only use the Default Settings because the predefined ones are greyed out. When I select the settings icon next to "Default Setting" I go to a window that will not let me change the color mode, resolution or paper size.

What am I doing wrong?

This generally depends on the type of scanner you are using. It might be because of scanner driver, please download and install latest driver of scanner you are using.

Also, Check the Acrobat DC's update as well. If it has got the latest patch 20019.010.20099 installed then navigate to Acrobat>Help>and Run Installation Repair.
