I tried creating a fillable with an excel file.It won't pick up all of the fillable cells.  I created one 2 days ago and it worked fine.   What could be the problem?

It will most likely depend on how the Excel file is set-up, is my best guess, see if you can spot difference to how your Excel file is set-up where things don't quite work.  Are cells merged maybe? Or is the label not easily recognisable?

Keep in mind that Form Wizard doesn't always perform a perfect field recognition, using Acrobat you can add missing fields, and adjust incorrectly placed fields, when you click on Edit Form.

If you can't get things working for certain set-ups, see if you can share some additional information:

  • a screenshot of what the Excel spreadsheet looks like
  • information on the version of Excel you are using
  • information on the Windows Operating system version you are using
  • and anything else that will help us help you better.
