Creating a PDF with Adobe Acrobat, crashes EVERY TIME!

Our Adobe Acrobat randomly stopped working last week. Every time I try to create from scanner the program crashes. We have tried over and over to get tech support to fix this problem, reinstalling, remote access 3 times! Still not fixed. We pay for this service and have has ZERO help to resolve this issue. I have now downloaded another PDF program and it works fine, so not sure what the adobe issue is!! Please help!!!
