Creating a Portfolio with a large amount of files

Hello,

I am having an issue here with creating Portfolios. The program either freezes or it completes and then it won't let me save it so then is useless.

Is there a limit on how many files a portfolio can have? Even if I try to combine files it will finish and then when I go to save it says the file is too big to save after taking an hour to combine.

I Aneed to be able to compile these for eDiscovery legal requests. I have tried many different machines and even try to split them up.
