Creating and running a batch sequence in Adobe DC

I need to run a batch sequence in Adobe DC to place all the bookmarks in a PDF into a new PDF file. I know how to do this in previous versions of Adobe Acrobat, like this: https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/en/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/batch_sequences.pdf

But I can't figure out how to do this in DC. Any help is greatly appreciated!

How to create a list of bookmarks wasn't clearly covered in the above URL. I had to click around until I found the option to go to the Web for more tools, and then search through the list until I found the List Bookmarks Report. Once I found it, I was able to add it and then run it against my 248 page report.

  1. Open Adobe DC.
  2. Go to Tools.
  3. Select Action Wizard.
  4. At the top, select More Actions (Web).
  5. Scroll down the list on the web page to find "Create bookmark report." Click "Download" to download the file.
  6. Double-click the file in the download list, and click "Import" when you are asked if you want to import the action to Acrobat.
  7. Click "Import" again when it asks if you still want to import the action. Then click OK when it's been imported. Adobe is open to the "Create bookmark report" action.
  8. Select the .PDF file you want to create the list of bookmarks for by clicking "Select a File." For example, select the file "October Staff report.pdf"
  9. Click Start to process the file.

The list of bookmarks is stored in the same folder that the original file is in.  For example, the file with only the list of bookmarks is called "October Staff report_bookmarls.pdf" To see the bookmark list, open that file.

In Adobe Acrobat DC Pro use the Action Wizard.
