Having a issue when I try to print a drawing to pdf in Creo (Cad) software Adobe names the file name is "Creo Parametric - ?456-001-001-B470-00001" The ? is some sort of symbol and the main issue I have is the added extra 001 to the file name and this naming shows excatly the same in Title of the Document Properties . Why is it adding the extra numbers? Can I change some settings to just use the doumnet name which really is just 456-001-001-B470-00.

Hi @11624897_5428,

Thanks for reaching out.
Since you are printing the file to Adobe PDF Printer, you may try the following:

-  Go to Printers and Scanners > Adobe PDF, printer > Printer Properties > Preferences > Check for "Adobe PDF Output Folder: " and you may choose "Prompt for Adobe PDF filename."

Check the screenshot attached.

Let us know how it works.

I currently have it set to prompt and it prompts but adds all extra naming info and the 001 and the extra naming garbage ends up in the pdf's Title of Document Properties. Reference page 3 attachment of initial posting

@george_5428

When you check the file properties, it is actually available as 'Title', so it picks it up from the metadata.
As mentioned earlier, when prompted for the file name, you need to manually alter it according to your requirements.
