Question

crop printer marks for good

I am trying to crop the printer marks off for use after the document has been printed. It seems the crop process leaves the printers marks there but not visible. I found an older version which enables you to remove them within acrobat tools "Set media box to crop and remove objects outside crop box"

Can anyone help?

According to the PDF 1.7 spec, a PDF page size is always 381 km × 381 km. What we see is a mask, a viewport.

So "cropping" a PDF page does not remove anything.

You must use the Preflight tool (under Print Production pane):

Acrobate du PDF, InDesigner et Photoshopographe

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
