Question

Crop to UPS/FedEx labels inside large Acrobat files

I have hundreds of 4x6 inch labels embedded in Acrobat files each day.  Can I crop them automatically to leave only the labels for printing?  There used to be 'remove white space' option what worked reasonably well.

Thanks, Dan

I do  this every day.

Use the crop tool to crop tool to crop your page to the desired size. Before you click OK, make note of the crop settings used. Then make a custom command that crops the page using those settings.

You could take it one step furthere and make an Action that lets do do bot the cropping as well as the printing. In the print settings, set the page size to scale to fit. I find I need to sacle my pages down to print at about 97%. That way the bar code won't get cut off if your margins on your printer are bigger than a label printer.

Thanks!  That had been our method, but now the files are coming to us with labels in 'random' locations, so we have been hand clipping each page.  Hoping for and AI-type solution to identify that label and clip that.
