Question

CTRL+P on a WebSite does not Produce a Good Acrobat Pro PDF. Overlapping Content

I can't believe I am the only one with this issue!

Note:

- I use the term "header" but I am not referring to the text at the very top/bottom of the page, but a box that appears near the top of the page. I am referring to the Yellow High Lighted box in File 1.

- I am using a Windows 11 Pro laptop (all software up to date).

- FireFox browser

- Using Acrobat Pro

THE ISSUE:

If find a web page that I want to print (see File 1). The URL of this site is shown below.

I click CTRL+P and print menu appears.

If I just print to file with the default settings, the top of the page has a header that over laps the text on the page. See File 2. The yellow square shows the header that appears at the top of every page. The blue arrow point to the text on the page that is covered up with this header. I can edit and remove the header, but what a pain! I don't even know where the yellow square header is coming from!

WHAT I TRIED:

- I also tried unchecking "Print Headers and Footers" in the print menu, but that does not help.

- On the print menu if I select "Simplified" than I don't get some of the pictures.

- If I use "Fit to page width", it still covers up some of the text.

- If I use "Scale" and set to 50%, the text is smaller but still covered up by the header.

- Changing the margins does not help either.

- One post suggested deleting the headers/footers: Edit/Header & Footer/Remove. I get a message that says "Adobe Acrobat cannot find any headers or footers".

- I could do a series of screen shots and save them to a Word file, and then covert that to a PDF: Too much work!

- I have found an extension in the Acrobat help section for MS Edge and Chrome, but nothing for FireFox

Does anyone know how to do a CTRL + P and print web pages?

Or is there a different way to print web pages.

Note: SOME webpages do have a "print" icon, but this one and many others, does not.

HERE IS THE URL FOR THE WEB SITE:

@Larry---SE have you thought of just selecting the page and 'Save as PDF' that what I normally do... but, you know Acrobat Pro does have a built-in feature, where you can directly convert the web page to a PDF using Acrobat Pro.  Go to File > Create > PDF from Web Page.  A dialog box will appear. Paste the URL of the web page you want to convert into the URL field. Click the "Settings" button to customize the conversion options. Look for options to control headers and footers or page layout. Click Create to convert the page and save the new PDF.

@creative explorer  Thanks so much for your reply. I tried the things you suggested:

- selecting the page and 'Save as PDF':  If I did it correctly, I got a HTM file. I really like PDF files since I can easily high lite paragraphs and comment on things using Acrobat Pro. Let me know if I did not do it correctly:  Left Click anywhere on web page, right click and select Save Page As. I did not see an option to Save As PDF. So I also tried high lighting all the text and then right clicking, but there is no Save Page As when I did that. I guess I am not sure how to "select the page".  ???

- Using Acrobat Pro. I did not realize this was possible. Thanks for letting me know. I did the steps you listed, however, the problem is that the pictures do not print, at least on the web site that is giving me problems.

Any other thoughts?

@Larry---SE sorry, select your page, right-click to 'Print' and then select to 'Save as PDF'
