Data Appears in Markup but not when file is open

Hello,

This is a frustrating issue, but it's not uncommon with PDFs, especially those with complex elements or markups. Here's a breakdown of potential causes and solutions:

Possible Causes:

Rendering Issues:
PDFs can contain complex graphics, fonts, and layers. Sometimes, your PDF viewer (even Adobe Acrobat) might struggle to render these correctly, leading to blank content.
This can be exacerbated by outdated software or graphics drivers.
Layering Problems:
PDFs can have layers, similar to image editing software. It's possible that the content layer is hidden or corrupted, while the markup layer remains visible.
Font Issues:
If the PDF uses fonts that are not embedded or that your system doesn't have, the text might not display properly.
PDF Corruption:
The PDF file itself might be corrupted, leading to display errors.
Software Conflicts:
Sometimes, other software or browser extensions can interfere with PDF rendering.
PDF creation problems:
The PDF could have been created in a way that is not fully compliant with PDF standards. This can cause rendering problems in many PDF viewers.
Troubleshooting Steps:

Update Adobe Acrobat:
Ensure you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat. Updates often include bug fixes and improved rendering capabilities.
Check for Graphics Driver Updates:      E-ZPass New Jersey
Outdated graphics drivers can cause display problems. Update your graphics drivers to the latest versions.
