Date format changed, help! I need MMDDYYYY

USA based company, we have been using adobe acrobat with no issues with the MMDDYYYY format, yesterday we notived the format changed defaulted to DDMMYYYY.  this can cause confusion with contracts and licensing.   I have searched all options available to no avail.  Currently I have to change the format every time  request e-sign, this is becoming tetious.   HELP!!
