Question

Date Range in one field

I have a form in which I'd like to insert a date range, similar to the way you enter a departure date and return date when making an airline  or rental car reservation.

Our training varies from 2 days to 7 days in length.  I'd like to be able to insert that range in a single field in my fillable form.  I'd like the output to appear in a single field with a format similar to "01 - 07 FEB 2025" (without the quotes).

Is this possible?  I'm using Acrobat DC Pro.

Thank you for any help.

Sincerely,

You can write it in a non formatted field.
If you want to select dates from a date picker, then no.

Ms. Nurani,

Thank you for responding.  If you say it can't be done then I am assured that it can't.

The form is not my form.  It's a form from a regulatory agency so the form itself can't be easily changed.   It have doesn't have sufficient space allotted to make two date fields, one for start and one for end.  I was hoping there would be a way to combine them but it seems not.

As always, thank you for taking time to respond.  Take care and stay safe.

Sincerely,

Mark

You could achieve it with a workaround by using hidden fields for start/end dates, and using a script to show the formatted date in your field.
