Hello! I need to get documents from my Document Cloud into my CMS software. Am I always going to have to download the document and save it locally to be able to do that or is there a way to access the document cloud from my desktop so I don't have the extra step?

Thanks!

I understand that. But that answer still doesn't address my question. I know I can access and open the PDF from all of those places. But I then need to take PDF docs that are in my document cloud and upload them into a third-party software. So, my question is - am I always going to have to download the file and save it locally to be able to do that, or is there a way to access my document cloud files from my File Explorer so I can upload them to other places?

This is not possible.

You can access the documents in a browser.

Thanks! But I'm actually looking at a way to not have to download the file. I am wondering if DC documents reside locally somewhere or if I can get them to reside locally through Creative Cloud drive or the like, because I need to upload them into specific software when I'm done.

You can access the documents in Document Cloud with Acrobat Reader, Adobe Acrobat, and browser.
