DDS message

First I'm not very good with PCs, but I can't open any more of my pdfs. I'm getting a messge can't connect to a dds server. When I try to open the pdf I get a message already open in Exporer? Can't open, can't close, can't print. Any steps I might follow? Thanks guys

Hi, 

 

Before you try anything else you should check if you had updated your product to reflect its current version. The most current update was ppublished on 14 November for both Acrobat Reader DC and Acrobat Pro DC. If your product is properly updated it should reflect version .20056

But you need to provide operating system, Adobe Acrobat product and update version and also be more specific, like if you are using any third party plugins in combination with other Adobe products that you may have installed, or even old subscriptions of previous versions.
