I would like to deactivate Acrobat DC Standard from my broken computer which I can't access it anymore. So, I cannot activate the Acrobat on my new laptop. Kindly advise on how to do that, please.

To Deactive a computer from your subscription you go to the Main Adobe website, adobe.com, select "Manage Account" then "View Plan Details" and at the bottom of that page you will see a list of Active computers. Click the "Deactivate" link on the right.

1. Is this a perpetual license (Acrobat 2015, 2017, 2020)? Or a subscription (Acrobat DC)?

2. Do you get a message when trying to activate on the new computer? What is the message exactly?

1. It is a subscription (Acrobat DC Standard).

2. The message shows as below.

This is a little surprising to me because you should EITHER have a serial number OR a subscription.  Do you pay every month for Acrobat Standard? Warning, scammers may contact you privately pretending to be Adobe staff. Adobe will never send you a private message asking you to email an account that isn't @adobe.com, or use Skype. Adobe never ask you for their password. These scammers want your Adobe info, credit cards, your money and control of your computer, please take care.
