Question

Deactivation does not work

Hello community,

I installed Acrobat Pro 2017 on one of our productive machines a few years ago.

Now I needed a new PC.

I installed Acrobat Pro 2017 again, using the same serial number.

This didnt work out because Acrobat told me that the license is already used on another machine.

When I tried to deactivate the license on the old PC, it was not possible. Login to my Adobe account (from within Acrobat Pro) also was impossible because of a "login-loop", I never managed to login successfully.

Therefore I can't disable the license on the old PC to properly use Acrobat on the new PC without the popup that I need to disable the license on the old PC.

As there's no 1-on-1 Adobe support for this, I need an activation count reset for my license.

How would I approach this?

Thanks for helping!

There is, and they are the only ones who can help you with this issue.
Chat support: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
(make sure pop-ups are not blocked; type "Agent" to chat with a real person)
Phone support: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html
There's no email support.

Beware of people contacting you via the forums' messaging system pretending to work for Adobe! Only those with an "Adobe Employee" tag under their name are legit. Also, Adobe will never offer to contact you via Skype, or use an email account that's not under the adobe.com domain...
