Delete a Signature

I signed a document about a month ago and realized that I had needed to hand sign it (not digitally). Now I can't find a way to delete the signature. I got the free trial of acrobat pro and google says there should be a clear signature option if I right click it or ctrl click it. Neither is working. I think maybe it doesn't realize I'm the one that signed it initially. Please help as I need to send the document ASAP.

Yes, that's how it is done. Are you sure you have the original signature profile used for signing? What do you see when you right-click the signature?

Please let us know how you added the signature to the document. As you do not get the option to clear the signature, we would like to see the option you used to add it. Did you use the digital signature feature or the Fill & Sign tool?

Also, share the options you get when trying to clear the signature. 

 

If you have added a digital signature and marked the box to lock the document, then it is not possible to remove that signature.
