Question

Delete auto-fill data in Adobe (not signatures)

Hi,

When filling a pdf, there is a lot of data Adobe is offering me to auto-fill that I don't want to be saved by the tool.

I've had Preferences > Forms > Auto-complete turned off for as long as I can remember and when I turn it on, the Edit Entry List is empty.
I know I need to delete signatures via All Tools > Fill & Sign but that's not what I want. I want Adobe to forget all the other data I've ever added.
How do I do this?

Thanks.

If you want Adobe Acrobat to forget all the data it suggests for auto-fill, simply turning off Auto-Complete isn’t enough. You need to clear the stored form data. In Adobe Acrobat, go to Edit > Preferences > Forms, ExperianCredit Login then look for the Clear All Form Data or Clear Auto-Complete Form Data option. This will erase all previously entered values that Acrobat remembers, including names, addresses, and other text fields, but it won’t delete signatures ...

Does you fill a form with form fields?

Hi AnakhaS,

Thank you for reaching out.

As mentioned above, you are filling out the PDF form. If the auto-complete is turned off, you should not receive the auto-fill suggestions.

Please share a screenshot or a video showing how you are filling out the form and the suggestions that appear.

Share the Acrobat and OS version on the machine.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
