Delete same text from multiple pages without redaction white box

I accidentally added the date that I created the document on each page.

Now I need to remove them from the whole document.

When I do Search and remove text, check all selected and apply redaction, it shows a white box around the area.

I have dark background in some pages but not others.

I also chose no fill for all redaction properties.

During the preview, it seems it just deleted the text, which is what I want.

However, after I saved and reopen the file, it shows a white rectangle overlay the area.

Is there a way to just delete the text without the white box?
