Delete words in Acrobat 9 and Windows 10?

I just bought Acrobat 9 and now it seems that a simple thing like deleting words is not possible.

Is there someone who can say more about this and maybe know a shortway (or longway ;-)) to do that anyway?

Ik heb Acrobat 9 net gekocht en nu blijkt dat ik niet eens heel simpel woorden kan deleten...

Is er iemand die hier meer over kan vertellen en misschien een omweg weet om dat toch te kunnen doen?

Info: Acrobat 9 is old and unsupported.
