Different (old) version of pdf form downloaded from email

I have an email from a co-worker where the preview of the pdf form shows the updated version of a printing request (2 copies of a document), while when I downloaded the form, it had the old information in the request (55 copies of multiple documents).  The behavior is the same whether I use Chrome or Firefox to open and to preview the document.  When I right-click and open it as a link, the document is correct with the updated version.  Unfortunately, the copies were made with the old version, and over $500 was wasted in printing.

Does anyone have an idea of why this happened?  The correct version was attached in the email, as evidenced by the preview and the linked version.

Hi Jcarlson,

I am sorry to hear that, as you are experiencing issues with the printing of the PDF file, we need some more information for a better understanding:

  1. What is the OS/version?
  2. What is the Application/version? To check the version of the product, please follow the link -Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Both of these browsers use their own PDF plugins to display PDF files, and they are known to have issues.

If you use Adobe Acrobat or Reader then it should display and print correctly, although without seeing the file it's hard to say what might have happened there.
