I have some clients that connot open a doucument that I created because of my Digital ID.

They get a message that says it is digitally signed, and won’t let them open it.

I've tried to delete the ID to no avail.

How do I send the doucument that everyone can open without the ID?

It was the encription feature in Mail that was the problem. I turned it off.

Thanks for the help, though.

Hi,

Can you explain the steps that  you followed to create this form, and how was it saved as?

Well, it orinally a Libre Office, saved in that format, then exported to pdf. Then I send out the pdf, saved in Adobe, to multiple recipiants. Created on a Mac. Hope this helps.

I've tried to remove my Digital ID to no avail.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

If you have a copy of the original file without the digital signaturr applied, review these steps:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/exchanging-digital-ids-prevention-forwarding-of-a-pdf/td-p/9724459

https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader/can-t-sign-documents-with-digital-ids/td-p/9837990

If the suggestions offered above in those links doesn't apply to your case, i can only think exporting the file back to MS Word or Libre Office writer, and ensure that if you don't need no templates or macros that you disable them before you convert the file back to pdf.

To convert the file to PDF do not save it as pdf from the text editor that you're using.

Simply open it with Acrobat and it will handle the text to PDF conversion automatically.
