Digital Signature no longer loaded; have to re-set it up each time

We have used this digital signature program on a daily basis for over 2 years.  All of a sudden when we go to insert the digital signature, it is not immediately available, but has to be re-set up again.  Does not save.  We need to understand how to correct this so that we are only clicking the digital signature once, to expedite our processes.
