Question

Digital signatures do not work (disappearing)

I have received several PDF documents from outside parties containing  their digital signatures.  I wish to combine them in Acrobat to create a contract document.  When I combine them the digital signatures vanish.

What is the point in having a signature if it vanishes when you copy the document?

Instead I have had to work round by taking screenshots of the signatures and pasting them back in.  A waste of my time.  Please fix this!

the point is to create a signed document. once signed, the document should be immutable except foir obtaining other signatures.

it wouldn't be very meaningful and would be misleading if you could edit a document.  ie, sign in sequence, https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/send-document-for-signature.html

Obviously I don't want to edit the document.  I just want to combine them without losing the signatures.

It's not very meaningful signing something if the signature just vanishes.

Sorry for being brusque.  It's just yet another annoying little niggle in Acrobat..
