Disable Home Screen Acrobat Pro 2022

In previoius verisons, there was an option in preferences to turn off the Home Screen. That option is now missing from preferences in 2022. I have version 2022.003.20310 on a mac. Please, is there a way to disable this very disruptive feature?? Thank you in advance.

This is certainly to harmonize the Mac and Windows versions (where this option does not exist).

Almost like they do it to get the web traffic! Very annoying to say the least. Someone made a conscious decision to remove it.
