Disabling Live automated fields

Question

Hi,We are experiencing difficulty when requesting signatures on a PDF via Adobe. The auto fileds function is picking up areas that we intentionally leave blank and fill them in upon sending to clients. We have tried print to save and it will still pick up active fields. We have attempted to manually scan & upload PDF documents and this generally works. However, is there a way to disable the 'auto' field when in the 'request signature' process?Thank you and your feedback would be greatly appreciated.Di

Hi Di,You're absolutely right—Adobe Acrobat's auto-detect form fields feature can be overly aggressive, especially during the Request Signatures process in Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Sign (formerly EchoSign). It attempts to "help" by detecting and placing form fields automatically, even in places you've left intentionally blank.  [Hidden spam link removed. Post it again and you'll be banned!]
