DISAPPOINTED IN LACK OF IMPORTANT FEATURES

I've been a user of PaperPort for many years and am disappointed to find that Acrobat Pro doesn't have the features it has. Most importantly -

(1) The ability to highlight>copy/cut>paste on different areas of both the same page and on other pages within the file and in other files.

(2) The ability to easily erase text/images/smudges.

(3) A file/folder structure that affords the ability to link to Document files on hard drive and see/access them with a click in a column on the left.

Adobe Acrobat is top rated among a list of Document Management Products.

If you're in need of working with Acrobat as you would with a dcoument management system, you have to use Adobe Acrobat  with Adobe Document Cloud Enterprise  integrations with Adobe eSign Services.

That is the closest you will get as an Adobe Acrobat document management system, because it's an integration of services with other partners and companies.

One good example of such integrations is "Document Locator" which runs in Adobe Acrobat straight of the File Menu.

It has many of the file management features you're referring to and more.

See here: https://www.documentlocator.com/features/adobe-document-management.htm
