Display issues in setting windows of Adobe Acrobat

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing display issues in all setting windows of Adobe Acrobat. Please see attached  file. I'm using a VMware virtual machine with an NVIDIA Grid GPU (2GB VRAM, VMware Tools up to date) and a screen resolution of 1920x1080 with 100% scaling.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Disable NVIDIA GPU and enabling VMware SVGA
  • Adjusting display settings (resolution and scaling)
  • Incereasing VRAM allocation fort he VM (2GB)
  • Install repair of Acrobat

Adobe Acrobat Version: 25.1.20937.0

OS: Windows 11 25H2

Has anyone encountered similar problems or have any suggestions for a fix?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @RSK_IT,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble with using Acrobat.

Have you tried switching to the Inter Basic Display Adapters?

To do so, go to Start > Device Manager > Display Adapters > Nvidia > Update > Manually select drivers > select Intel Basic Adapters > Next > Apply > OK.

If Acrobat starts up fine with the basic adapters, you would need to check with Nvidia on possible corruption.

Next, try resetting the app preferences. You can learn more about how to do so from here: https://adobe.ly/3Kh1wOk

If it does not work, please run the Acrobat cleaner tool https://adobe.ly/4pBAiRO, reboot the computer once, and install the application using the direct link https://adobe.ly/3XDu8Vn and see if that works for you.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Souvik.
