distiller cannot find its standard icc profiles

I keep receiving this error "distiller cannot find its standard icc profiles. Please reinstall Adobe Acrobat to correct this problem."
I reinstalled Adobe Acrobat but it didn’t fix the problem and I still receive the error message.

I'd appreciate any advice to solve the issue.

Try resetting your Acrobat preferences or manually installing the missing ICC profiles from the Adobe website. If the issue persists, contact Adobe support for further assistance.

The error message appears occasionally without running any Adobe app.

I have only Adobe Acrobat Pro installed.

Hi. Know this thread it over a year old now, but we've suddenly started getting this error for some of our users, so wondering if you ever managed to resolve it? We've re-installed Adobe Pro and it's made no difference. Thanks
