Distiller doesn't start distilling a PS file

hi to all,

I have a Mac Studio 2023 with a M2 processor, adobe distiller (Acrobat Build: 24.1.20615.0, AGM: 7.1.4, CoolType: 9.1.0, JP2K: 4.0.2.54248).

When I drag a PS file into distiller the distilling process doesn't start/hangs regardless of the default setting (Standard or Smallest File Size, etc...).

Any idea how to fix this?
