Distiller issue

Question

Hello, while running a full scan on my brother's computer using Windows Defender, I received a warning saying, "Another instance of Distiller is busy starting. This instance cannot continue." Why did I receive this warning? Could it be due to Defender (full scan), and what does this application do?

Acrobat Distiller is a component of Acrobat Pro that converts PostScript files into PDFs. It’s primarily used in professional publishing workflows where precise control over PDF creation is needed.

If you keep getting the message, try reinstalling the Acrobat using the steps suggested below:

-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://adobe.ly/4o2Ke5J).
-Reboot the machine
-Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://adobe.ly/4mTVd0x.
