To create a searchable index for your PDF documents: 

Prepare Your PDFs:

• Ensure that your PDFs are text-searchable. If they are scanned images, use OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to convert them into searchable text.

• Place all the PDFs you want to index in a single folder. See this article for more details: https://adobe.ly/4jiYmpS

Create the Index:

• Open Adobe Acrobat.

• Go to Tools > Index.

• Click on New Index.

• In the dialog box, specify the folder containing your PDFs.

• Follow the prompts to build the index.​

This index allows for faster and more efficient searches across multiple PDF documents.
