Document loosing searchability

I have a very difficult client which wants all the documents in specific size and searchable. As I am reaceiving different files from suppliers I have to reprint all the documents to meat size requirements. My problem is afterwards that even document is saying it's searchable (before and after running OCR), I can't find enything when using "Find".

Do you have advice how to solve this?

Printing PDF-to-PDF is a disaster. Don't be tempted to use it as a "quick fix" for any issue of any kind.

Don't print the documents. Use the available tools in Acrobat Pro.

It sounds like you're taking the wrong approach. If the document is searchable before you re-print and alter the size, then somehting you are doing is rasterizing the files and making them non-searchable. There should be no need to run OCR on these files if they began as searchable files.
