Document Message Bar not showing in Adobe Acrobat Reader 2022.003.20310

I have Adobe Acrobat Reader version 2022.003.20310 (32-bit)

I'm following instructions in article "https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/mpip-support-acrobat.html" in order to enablel Document Message Bar (i.e. I had to vreate the .

When I open a Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MPIP) labeled document in Adobe Acrobat Reader, the Document Message Bar (DMB) does not appear. If I check the Document Properties, then in "Custom" tab, I can see details about the label applied.

What am I doing wrong?

Note that the same applies (i.e. DMB not showing) if I open a MPIP protected PDF file.

Your help will be greatly appreciated, as this is puzzling me for a couple of months now.
